1. 1993-1995:  EEC-STD III Project on interlinkages between East African Coastal Ecosystems. Project Contract No. TS3-CT92-0114: Research component on hydrodynamics and water circulation dynamics in Gazi Bay, Kenya.

2.  1994-1995:  UNEP Eastern Africa Coastal and Marine Environment Database and Atlas Project.  Coastal hydrology Component focused on the delineation of coastal river basins/catchments and preparation of a chapter on coastal rivers, lakes and ground water resources, including the policy, legal and institutional frameworks governing environmental assessment and water resources management.

3. 1995-1996:  IOC-SAREC/WIOMSA Project (Project Contract No.. SC298-012-5): Research project on the sediment production and discharge dynamics in the Mwache River Basin, Kenya.

4. 1996-1997:  KWS (Kenya Wildlife Service)-KMFRI Project on the bio-diversity of Mida Creek.  Implemented a research component on hydrology, water circulation dynamics and groundwater flow in Mida Creek, Malindi, Kenya.
